... and the caravan moves on ..

Well that's it for another year - this must go down as one of THE legendary SA Championships. The [apparent] fuss over handicaps - Task speeds in excess of 160 kph over 320Km - truly international entry list - and of course The JS-1. What a debut! Do the Jonker brothers have a winner here or not? Talk is that 2 of these beuties will be appearing at the next World's. With overseas plaudits from ZASoar on r.a.s one could be guilty of suspecting that the Potch order book at Jonker Sailplanes is looking healthy? Pat Beatty must be looking down on this and smiling. As ever Carol's daily diary kept us in touch, and using Skype, for the first time at a SA Nationals, Peter [Boris] Wyld tersley communicated the state of the scores and other opinions.
But it does not stop - weathersa is talking up 6m/s to 18000' today - another bag of 1000's on the way? It's a hard life!
